Every single we sell is checked by hand against the TCGplayer condition guide before it is listed. Singles are Near Mint unless the listing says otherwise, and today every single in the store is Near Mint. The condition is shown on the product card, in the title and in the trust box on the product page. Graded cards are the exception: they are sold as graded by the grading company, with the grade and cert number on the listing.
What the conditions mean
| Condition | What you can expect |
|---|---|
| NM — Near Mint | Looks unplayed. At most a tiny edge nick or a faint surface mark you have to hunt for under light. No whitening to speak of, no creases, no scratches on the foil. Pack-fresh cards and cards that went straight into a sleeve qualify. |
| LP — Lightly Played | Light wear you can see on a close look: a little edge whitening, small corner wear or minor scuffing on the surface. Still a clean card in a sleeve. No creases, no water damage. |
| MP — Moderately Played | Wear that is obvious at arm's length: noticeable whitening on several edges, scratches or scuffs across the face, a slight bend. Fully playable, not for a display binder. |
| HP — Heavily Played | Heavy wear or one serious flaw: deep scratches, major whitening, a crease or a bend, light water damage. Still intact and legible. |
| DMG — Damaged | Tears, holes, heavy creases, writing or water damage that changes the card. Sold for the art or as a placeholder only. |
How we photograph singles
The first image on a single is the TCGplayer catalog image, so you can see the printed card clearly. The images after it are our own scans of the exact card you will receive, front and back. If a scan shows something you are unsure about, ask before you buy and we will look again.
How singles ship
Each card goes into a penny sleeve and a toploader or card saver, sealed in a team bag, inside a padded mailer. In-stock orders ship within 1–3 business days from Las Vegas, Nevada, with tracking. Singles ship together with sealed product in the same order: lighter orders under $200 ship for a flat $6.49, and orders of $200 or more ship free and insured.
